 "Amber Crested" Mixed Media on Gold leaf/canvas | Spring is just around the corner and I have made a few
additions to the website uploaded a few new images along
with a couple of guest artists that I thought you might
enjoy. Equine Affaire's honored me by choosing "Love
Bites" and a few othe equine paintings for their 2011
advertising shows. We attended the event in Pomona, Ca.
wow there where horse lovers everywhere had a super time.

Pat My work is about a journey. Primarily abstract; it incorporates a love for experimentation with mixed media and color. I work on very large canvases that are gold, copper, and silver leafed. Using the leaf as a reflected light source under acrylic glazes creates exciting and constantly changing images with one's natural light source. The work is a process of building multiple design elements of collage and highly textured areas. It is a layered fusion of leafing, collage and acrylic glazes. |
